Todor focuses his practice on intellectual property law, particularly patents and software copyrights.  Dealing primarily in the area of patent law, he has helped individuals and corporations see that their ideas are granted patents.  His patent work includes all aspects relating to patents both domestically and internationally. He has provided intellectual property counsel to both start-up and established businesses, as well as the prosecution of patent applications.

Todor provides legal counsel on software copyright issues, including software licensing and use of open-source software.  Prior to law school, Todor worked as a computer systems architect, helping develop complex enterprise-level IT systems, such as a Preferred Card system for Piggly Wiggly of North Carolina.  His hands-on knowledge of software development helps clients develop practices to assure unimpeded software product copyright ownership.

He also provides counsel on export regulations related to computer and software technology, and he drafted and filed requests for ECCN classifications and advisory opinions.  More particularly, Todor counseled clients regarding exportation of encryption hardware, and employment of foreign nationals for development of advanced technologies.
